Paehinahina Block
The hearing for this block was in 1890 and was awarded to certain uri of Rakeiao through the descendants of Niniurangi and Hineuia of Ngati Rongomai, wives of Hinekura, and also to descendants of Puwhakaoho.
Whangamoa Block
The Whangamoa block (Te Rotoiti No. 1) came before the Native Land Court in 1899 and the ownership rights of Ngati Hinekura were not contested.
Tokerau Block
The Tokerau block came before the Native Land Court in 1900 and Ngati Hinekura was awarded Te Rotoiti No. 4 block and the land was issued in favour of the descendants of Hineteao and Iro.
Haroharo Block
The original hearing for the Haroharo block was in 1900 and was later investigated in 1914 and confirmed that the land was awarded to the descendants of three brothers, Ranginui, Rangiuruao and Rakeimokorau, with the descendants of these tupuna affiliating to Ngati Hinekura.
